Pomeroy 142 began in a kitchen — not a factory.

With a partner battling a chronic disease, I started learning just how many store-bought candles were made with petroleum-based waxes and synthetic fragrances. I wanted something safer, something that felt good to bring into our home. So I began pouring my own candles — one batch at a time — using only clean, nontoxic ingredients.

What started as a small act of care quickly grew into something more. As word spread, I realized I needed help to keep up. That’s when my mom, Patrice, joined me — and Pomeroy 142 became a true mother-daughter venture.

Today, every candle is hand-poured by my mom in Nebraska using 100 % pure American-grown soy wax, clean fragrance oils, and cotton wicks. We keep things simple, sustainable, and honest — no toxins, no shortcuts, no mass production. Just candles made with love and integrity.

Each pour is a reminder of why we started: to create light that’s safe, comforting, and meaningful. Whether it’s your quiet morning ritual or your way to unwind at the end of the day, our candles are meant to bring warmth, calm, and care into your space.
